For eleven years, Joanie Spina served as choreographer and co-director to David Copperfield. Together they created an impressive repertoire of intriguing routines appreciated by millions world-wide.  She choreographed ten of David's annual CBS specials as well as his Broadway show, Dream and Nightmares.  Spina teamed up with Mark Kalin & Jinger Leigh and Jeff Hobson to create their award-winning show, "The Carnival of Wonders" at the Flamingo Hilton in Reno.

She continues to work with the Kalins as the ongoing director of Kalin & Jinger's "Real Magic."Tim Kole (the son of famed illusionist and inventor Andre Kole) and his partner Jenny Lyn, flew Joanie half way around the world to Malaysia to direct their full length evening show at Genting Highlands Casino. In 1998, at the Claridge Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, Joanie co-starred and directed the critically-acclaimed "Women of Magic."
